What is the philosophy of the event?
Rally 4 Passion is all about passion for rallying, with legendary cars that have marked their era. Without the pressure of competition. Do you have a beautiful, authentic rally car? Do you want to have fun on superb special stages, in a perfectly safe environment, without worrying about the seconds ticking by? Then the Rally 4 Passion – 1st Huy-Namur Rallye Festival is made for you.
What cars are eligible ?
The rally cars that made us – and you – fall in love with rallying years ago, and which continue to make all enthusiasts dream: Group 2, Group 4, Group B, Group A, Kit Cars, first-generation WRCs, etc. Authentic cars, restored or rebuilt respecting the original.
What are the selection criteria?
The authenticity of the vehicle, both in terms of its technical configuration and its individual history, is essential. As is the decoration of the car. An authentic vehicle with an “ordinary” livery will be less attractive to the selection committee than another displaying its period livery or an iconic competition livery used on the same model.
What does the itinerary look like?
On Friday, the participants of Rally 4 Passion will make two passes on an iconic stage of the Condroz, in the Huy region. On Saturday, two loops will be held on the special stages of the Rallye de Wallonie. The stages will have a total of approximately 105 kilometres.
Is there an element of competition?
No. Even though the special stages will be held on closed roads – just like in a ‘real’ rally, with optimal security, and a set of rules and regulations to respect – Rally 4 Passion is an event without any notion of competition or classification.
